At St James’ we have the privilege of hosting the annual Thanet Bible Week each June, which this year celebrates its 12th year. Each year we have gifted visiting Bible-teachers, who give excellent Bible-teaching.

Thanet Bible Week is organised by local churches and provides -

• An opportunity to hear the preaching of God's Word by men the Lord has called, gifted and used.
• An opportunity for encouragement in being part of a larger congregation.
• An opportunity for fellowship with other Christians who live and worship in and around the area.

"It really is the sort of teaching that, in some parts of the world, people would walk miles to hear. And it is no exaggeration to say that the Thanet Bible Week is like having Keswick or Word Alive (if you are familiar with those Bible-teaching events) on our doorstep".

The evening meetings start at 8.00 p.m. at St James’ Church. Coffee and tea will be available in the Church Centre after the meeting.

Seminars start at 12 noon when we eat lunch together (bring your own sandwiches – but drinks are provided). We hand over to the speaker at 12.30 and finish at 1.30.
