	The annual Thanet Bible Week is one of the high points of the year, when excellent Bible speakers come to Thanet for the benefit of the churches in the area. All the meetings take place at St James’. "This is Bible teaching of a high calibre – the sort of thing that in some parts of the world people would walk for miles to attend. This isn’t heavy stuff for an elite few – this is good Bible teaching for any Christian who wants to grow". Robert Bashford

Thanet Bible Week is organised by local churches and provides -

An opportunity to hear the preaching of God's Word by men the Lord has called, gifted and used.
An opportunity for encouragement in being part of a larger congregation.
An opportunity for fellowship with other Christians who live and worship in and around the area.

Bible Week 2008
10th - 13th June

Angus MacLeay from St Nicholas Sevenoaks UK Website gave two thought provoking sermons on Ruth: “When your life falls apart” (Ruth 1) and “How God starts to rebuild” (Ruth 2). Seminar: - 'Fractured foundations and the disappearing doctrine of the Trinity'.

Steve Lawson from The USA - Christ Fellowship Baptist Church Website delivered two powerful evening talks: “The power of the Gospel” (Rom.1.16-17) and “Seven truths about Satan” (Job 1). Seminar: 'The powerful ministry of God's word' (Psalm 119.1-8).
