CREATION
When you are sitting there
All alone in a chair
With a cup of tea, pad and a fag
Do you ever wonder?
Do you ever care?
The world is a wonderful place to live
Do you ever wonder
About the beauty of the flower
How it keeps its colour
How it keeps its shape
The world is a wonderful place to live
Do you ever wonder?
About the trees of the nation
How we got to have so many
And who put them there
The world is a wonderful place to live
Who created the grass in the field?
Who created the birds in the sky?
Who created the creatures on the ground?
The same person who
Created the whole universe
I have always wondered
But then I came close to him
The world is a wonderful place to live
The world is a wonderful place to live
The world is a wonderful place to live
Knowing the truth doesnt hurt
HE IS HERE WITH US
I have TRUST
I BELIEVE
I have FAITH
I LOVE YOU JESUS CHRIST
When I have been in pain
When I have been in trouble
When I have a heart, two hearts with some one
And we fall apart
You have been THERE for me
I have TRUST
I BELIEVE
I have FAITH
I LOVE YOU JESUS CHRIST
A person has been misdirected in their life
And just cannot get away
From telling awful lies
You are there for them
You point them to the light
We all have TRUST in you
We all BELIEVE in you
We all have FAITH in you
We love you JESUS CHRIST
A group of people
Have received some bad news
It cuts right in to their heart
It hurts you to know that it has happened
You are with them all the way
To comfort them in their sadness
We all have TRUST in you
We all BELIEVE in you
We all have FAITH in you
We love you JESUS CHRIST
There are some people
Who do not want to BELIEVE?
That it all did happen
They should open their eyes
Look towards the light
And drop that barrier of darkness.
AMEN
THE BEGINNING OF GOOD
& BAD
This World
Was a wonderful place?
In the beginning
It was a sinless World to be
Until the snake
Made a wrongful move.
Why did it do that?
Why did he make
That wrongful move?
That was the start
Of the destruction of this World
The peace was shattered
Just like a pane of glass
When it is dropped from a height.
Why did it do that?
It must have known it was doing wrong.
The spirit of Satan
Got inside its mind
When he accomplished his aim
That made the animal
Go blind, it could not see
The bad things it was doing.
It did not care
As far as he could see
Then it all begun
The rights and the wrongs
This all began many years ago
Why did it begin?
We will never know.
Why did it do it?
I would like to know
But alllcan say know is
OH NO.
The right way to go
Is to the LORD
Some people are overshadowed
By doing wrong
Theyre to blind to see
This is my message
To those people
FOLLOW THE LORD
It has worked for me
FOLLOW THE LORD
Speak to him too
If you ask him
He will HELP you.
Do not be worried
Do not hesitate
IT IS NEVER
TOO LATE.
HARVEST
When non believers
Come out of the darkness
And into the light
They all look around themselves
They look at the things that grow
They think about it
Then they say
WE THANK THE LORD
For giving us food
From below and above the ground.
One special day
They can all get together
With the believers of the LORD
And celebrate his gifts to us
The new people get together
They sing a song of FREEDOM
We are going from
The cloud of darkness
To that ray of light
That is how we want it
That is how its going to stay.
And they say
THANK YOU LORD
For the beautiful food
That you have provided us
From below and above the ground.
So one special day
We can ALL get together
And celebrate the LORDS gifts
Every one comes together
To sing a song of FREEDOM
And to celebrate the LORDS gifts.
EVERY ONE comes together
Here and across the whole world
To praise the LORD
For what he has done
And for what he is going to do.
We spread the GOOD NEWS around
And we all say
THANK YOU LORD
For this beautiful food
That you have provided us
From below and above the ground
THANK YOU LORD
For your gifts and mercy.
MY LAST MESSAGE
Yes, it's time for me to go
It's time for me to say Goodbye
When someone says these words to you
Don't worry if people see you cry
You will not have the pleasure of
Seeing me, listening to me and laughing with me
I will still be with you all
Just close your eyes and reach out
I WILL BE THERE
I will always hear your prayers

PATHWAY TO GOD - Roberts Testimony
I am the only Christian in my family. I have often found this challenging and, at times, very difficult.
We moved, as a family, from Essex to Kent in 1982. I was a typical lad and, at the age of 8, had a serious fairground accident which nearly cost me my life. Riding on the Scenic Railway at Dreamland, Margate, I fell, suffering serious head injuries and a broken arm. I was in a coma for six weeks.
I was grateful to survive but the accident has left me with serious permanent physical disabilities. Inevitably the accident changed my life, and the life of those around me. I have had to make many adjustments in order to cope, even with everyday things.
One of those adjustments involved my schooling. At an early age I had to realise there were things I could do and others that I could manage only with difficulty. In my teens, I had to come to terms with discrimination and name-calling which was hard to accept and upsetting. Not receiving all the support I should have received didnt make things any easier for me. Following my school years, I have spent a long time trying to make progress and to make up what I had lost in formal education.
In my 20s I met a man called Mick, a strong Christian and a devoted supporter of Margate Football Club! He took me to watch the club play and from that day onwards I became good friends with Mick and his family. Whatever the fortunes of the Club (and they resemble a switchback most of the time!) we still support them, win or lose.
Having lost all memory of my earlier years, I can only say I think I went to Sunday School as a child. Having made friends with Mick, he began taking me to St James, the church he and his family attend. Eventually, the Lord opened my heart and I put my trust in Jesus Christ as my Saviour. I have never turned back since then. Now, as part of the church family, I have made many friends who encourage and support me.
I have struggled with various parts of my life, but God continues to help me through. I try to use the gifts and talents that he has given me, and have written collections of poems and several short stories, and hope to get them published.
My physical disabilities are severe and permanent but I believe that Gods unchanging love and daily help are no less permanent, and I am learning to trust him daily for the help I will always need.
